The Capistrano Acting Academy is a place where kids and adults can both have fun and develop the skills needed to succeed as a working actor. Our affiliation with the Acting Academy for Kids, managed and directed by Stephen Zygo, brings your children a fun and enriching series of musical theatre classes during the school year and intensive theatre workshops during the summer months. Adult acting programs have now been added to the CAA curriculum and enable working adults the opportunity to improve their acting, auditioning, and improvisational skills. Please take a moment to review all our classes then enroll yourself or your child for an enriching experience. The more that you and your children enjoy and participate in our programs ... the more that you will understand the importance of theatre arts in America.

MUSICAL THEATRE SPRING
BREAK and MUSICAL
THEATRE
UMMER CAMP Mark your calendars ... during
Spring Break in 2010 and again during the Summer of 2010 the Capistrano Acting Academy Children's Program will once again offer full theatre-immersion program for one-week camp sessions. Each week of Summer Camp will provide four specialized lessons (music, art, acting and dance) and at the end of the week will culminate with a performance for parents, families and friends. Each week of Summer Camp will have a different theme that your children will enjoy. Your child can participate for one week ... the entire summer ... or anywhere in between! All of these theme-based camps run from Monday through Friday with a special Friday performance. Check back in early 2010 for details on our next Summer Acting Camps. "Our daughter is having a blast and says that this is the best summer camp she has ever attended! Every morning she wakes up and is anxious to get to camp right when it starts and is already talking about signing up for the camp next summer. Keep up the great work!" ● Mark and Lorna Fenton Click Here to contact Stephen Zygo for more information or call Stephen Zygo directly at (714) 747-4915

Starting March 30th, 31st and April 1st, 2010
Here is Rydell High's senior class of 1959: duck-tailed, hot-rodding "Burger
Palace Boys" and their gum-snapping, hip-shaking "Pink Ladies" in bobby sox and
pedal pushers, evoking the look and sound of the 1950s in this rollicking
musical. Head "greaser" Danny Zuko and new (good) girl Sandy Dumbrowski try to
relive the high romance of their "Summer Nights" as the rest of the gang sings
and dances its way through such songs as "Greased Lightnin'", "It's Raining on
Prom Night", and “Those Magic Changes” recalling the music of Buddy Holly,
Little Richard and Elvis Presley that became the soundtrack of a generation. An
8-year run on Broadway and two subsequent revivals along with innumerable school
and community productions place Grease among the world's most popular musicals.
