Written by Gary McCarver & Tom Scott - Directed by Gary McCarver
This very loose adaptation of the story of Modesta Avila whose efforts to stop the train from running through San Juan Capistrano put the town in turmoil and was the "Law and Order" of its day! Of course we have added some great music, some familiar town characters and a whole slew of shameless plugs referencing local merchants. You will love every minute and will of course be able to answer the question ... "Will her Knickers ever be clean?" The most fun you will ever have in the theatre in years. Suitable for the entire family with foam rocks to throw at the villain and cue cards to remind us to "Boo" or "Cheer".

At the Camino Real Playhouse "mostly" authentic old west style melodramas have been thrilling audiences each season since as long as we can remember. So be sure to remember to turn back the clock and prepare for a hilarious time that appeals to all ages where everyone joins in the fun by cheering the hero, booing the villain and tossing the occasional foam "rock" at that vile and reprehensible scoundrel.
For those of you that missed the melodrama The Broken Badge early in 2009 ... you will just have to wait 5 or 6 years until it comes back again ... sorry ... you snooze ... you lose. So don't miss our new great production in 2010 ... which marks the 20th anniversary of the Playhouse. Tickets are available online at the Camino Real Playhouse in San Juan Capistrano.
